“2 Now the eretz was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep. Elohim Ru’ach was hovering over the surface of the waters. 3 Elohim said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 Elohim saw the light, and saw that it was good. Elohim divided the light from the darkness. 5 Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. There was evening and there was morning, one day. ”
While conducting my morning study, I dwelled on these verses and Ru’ach took over and now my thoughts suggest it has to be something more than this. I began examining the difference between light and darkness, day and night. Verse 2 clearly outlines Elohim power and his wisdom, that everything should not be dark or everything should not be light. Instead light and darkness must both coexist and therefore the two must be separated and designated to its own domain. A balance was being created within the universe more dynamic than revolving times and seasons. It seems that the creation of light did not extinguish all darkness in the eretz, but rather that there were places for both light and darkness, just as day does not annihilate all night. and night would be limited in its reach. Now since I gained perspective on this, why is the righteous called Ben (Sons) of Light and wicked labeled Ben (Sons) of Darkness. Isiah 45; 7 I form the light, and create darkness; I make shalom, and create evil. I am the YHWH, who does all these things.
So when Elohim were creating the Eretz and changed night from day to distinguish time and seasons, was he also separating those who will display obedience and dedicate themselves to evangelism from those who practice unrepentant and woefully sinful?
The War of the Ben (Sons) of Light Against the Ben of Darkness, also known as War Rule, Rule of War and the War Scroll, is a manual for military organization and strategy that was discovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls. The manuscript was among the scrolls found in Qumran Cave and first published posthumously by Eleazar Sukenik in 1955. The document is made up of various scrolls and fragments including 1QM and 4Q491-497. Scholars have been unable to determine the exact author of the text. The unity and cohesiveness of the manuscript leads some, such as Jean Carmignac and Yigael Yadin, to believe that it was written or compiled by a single writer. Most scholars believe, at this point, that it is a composite document, copied from many source documents by one sofer (scribe).
These skrol (scrolls) contain an apocalyptic prophecy of a war between the Ben of Light and the Ben of Darkness. The war is described in two distinct parts, first (the War against the Kittim, in the genealogy of Genesis 10 in the Hebrew Bible, is the son of Yavan (Javan), the grandson of Yefet (Japheth), and Nuach (Noah’) great-grandson.) described as a battle between the Sons of Light, consisting of the sons of Levi, Yehudah (Judah), and Binyāmīn (Benjamin), against the exiled sons of the desert, Edom, Moahv (Moab), Ammon, the Amaleq (Amalekites), and Pelesheth (Philistia) and their allies the Kittim of Asshur (referred to collectively as the army of Belial), and [those who assist them from among the wicked] who “violate the covenant”. The second part of the war (the War of Divisions) is described as the Ben of Light, now the united twelve tribes of Yisra’el (Israel), conquering the “nations of vanity.” In the end, all of Darkness is to be destroyed and Light will live in peace for all eternity. 2 Corinthians 6: “14 Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? 15 What agreement has Messiah with Beliya`al? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement has temple of Elohim with idols? For you are a temple of the living Elohim. Even as Elohim said, “I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their YHWH, and they will be my people.”
During my early childhood and youth at 7th Avenue Baptist Church in Oakland, Ca, sunday school and Sunday service. was all about Rev C.T Johnson and his interpatation of YESHUA ministry, which consisted of 5 major components: YESHUA (jesus) 1. birth in a manger by virgin Miryam (Mary) 2. teaching in the synagogue, 3. life as carpenter 4 YESHUA ministry 5 Death on a cross. This was a battle between the forces of light against the forces of darkness but like “In The Beginning” chapters of Genesis 1, what is the distinction between Ben of Light and Ben of Darkness. Most of the apostles had questionable characters and were in doubt of YESHUA ministry. The mosaic law spoke of a messiah that would bring glory back to Ben of Yisra’el but Pharisees worked alongside Ben of Darkness to murder YESHUA.
Today YESHUA ministry is taught to forgive mankind of past sins or allow behaviour that was unacceptable in ancient times, within your household. The mosaic law is being overlooked for political correctness and ELOHIM name is taken in vain. Ask most parishioners and ministers what the Word of YHWH says about sodomy, greed, fornication, idol worship, false prophets and demons, interpretations will vary,. What the Ben of Darkness establishing numerous religious denominations and sects worldwide, the wheat will be difficult to separate from the weeds, “In The End”
